The Ladies

The ladies are …

Anja

Anja Søberg Blystad

Happy, cheerful 1st alto from Løten, and the eminent leader of the choir. Lives for everything life can offer of music and great experiences.

Elin

Elin Thingstad

2nd alto. Relatively newly married mother of two children. Kinder garden pedagogue (the conductor thinks her education happened by mail!). She fights for warm meals, with a longing and love for Spain!

Hanne

Hanne Norum Hollekim

Always young and promising 2nd alto with a nurse’s deed on the side… Has mostly wandered down the streets of jazz, but sings all genres happily!

Helle

Helle Beate Moen

2nd alto. Happy and content, almost always. Appreciates good music, good wine, good food and good moods. No choir without good 2nd altos!

Kjersti

Kjersti Kval

1st soprano. Has been a choir singer for many years. Sings all genres, but her favorite is jazz from the 50s. Talks a lot – to the conductors frustration – but thinks herself that she’s a good girl deep down. Favorite radio station is Radio Toten, of course!

Kristine

Kristine Andresen

1st soprano. Kristine is little, but good, kind, happy, and sometimes a bit crazy! Loves singing everything, from classical music to pop and rock.

Lisabeth

Lisabeth Kvalevaag Holm

2nd soprano. Woman raised by the ocean, with a great-great grandfather who played with Ole Bull. Knows Leif Ove Andsnes sister. Owns 9 milk cows, 15 calves and lots of forest. Four children. Shares her life with Hedmark’s most wonderful man…

Liv

Liv Snartland Wilson

1st soprano. Loves Swedish folk songs in minor. The exception is if she’s out running or skiing. Voice exercises in the living room before rehearsals is her children’s great fear.. Liv has been in Ladies’ Evening since year 2000.

RandiS

Randi Strømbu

1st alto. “Steady voice”. From Folldal. Has a gleam in her eye and a good (?) sense of humour!

RandiT

Randi Trønnes

2nd soprano. Randi is also from Folldal, and has a gleam in her eye, a good sense of humour, and takes joy in freely speaking hens and in picking berries.

Renate

Renate Grimsbø Kulbrandstad

1st alto. Lives in Stange with husband, children, dog and cat. Active within singing and music outside the choir as well, as one half of the duo Kattefot. Teacher and designer.

Siv

Siv Tove Larsen

Deep 2nd alto with a long career in the choir. Her days consist of being a happy mother of four children and a kinder garden pedagogue. Nothing is larger than love….to life, people, nature and singing!

Tittin

Tittin Wold

1st soprano and teacher with love for singing, from Molde. Loves children, Billy Joel and HamKam!

Torill

Torill Beate Nilsen

1st alto. One of the choir’s veterans. Active in many areas, mostly singing and music, among other things as one half (or the other) of the duo Kattefot.

Anne Marie Erichsen

1st alto - at the moment. Officially known as the "potatoe" - useable for pretty much everything! Very active, in several areas. Is now involved in 5 choirs, in different ways. Bottom line is - she loves to sing!

Ellen Cathrine Linnestad
An emotional 2.soprano who has been involved with music and singing all her life. Loves basically all kinds of music, but it must be performed with nerve and real passion. It can give good vibrations to body and soul if it is in tune as well! She is currently working as a designer.

Marit Bye

1st soprano. Has sung in different choirs around Hamar from she was a little girl. She enjoys musicals and latino music the most! Working with people everyday, and is an eternal optimist.

Beate Vik

1st soprano. Recycled after 13 years off. Intensive Care Nurse originally from Gursken in Sunnmøre. Raised on fish, lamb meat and choirs. She also sings in Collegium Vocale at the moment.
